Tower Thoughts: A Carillon New Music Festival featuring University Carillonist Alex Johnson along with Tiffany Ng (University of Michigan), Jasper Depraetere (Belgium) and Stefano Colletti (France), the second carillon new music festival in University of Chicago history, and the world’s first carillon festival featuring a talking tower! Have you ever wondered what the tower thinks about all day? Come find out! World premieres of works by Connor Chee, Carolyn Chen, Arowah, Yvette Janine Jackson, Liesbeth Janssens, Ania Vu, and Charlie Zettek.
Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the concerts from the east lawn of Rockefeller Chapel. The Chapel will be open for indoor viewing in the event of inclement weather.
